Join us for our annual Fishing Derby for children and family picnic day at Warinanco Park. Picnic tables and barbecue grills will be available on a first come first serve basis. Bait and fishing poles will be provided for the children entering the fishing contest while supplies last. Registration will begin at 9:00 am.

A pageant to crown the Royal Family that will represent the community during the Portugal Day Parade. The pageant will include traditional regional attire and formal evening wear. The event will begin at 6:30 pm and take place at the Portuguese Instructive Social Club at 600 Grove St, at the corner of Route 1 & 9 in Elizabeth, NJ.
Beginning at 7:30 AM we will begin registration. We will then proceed to the start of our golf tournament with a shotgun start at 9:00 am. Beverages will be provided throughout tournament. Once the tournament is over we will serve dinner and hand out trophies along with prizes to participants. The golf tournament will be held at Galloping Hill Golf Course, 3 Golf Drive, Kenilworth, NJ.

Join us for our first-ever 5K Fun Run/ Walk! Lace up your running shoes and be part of this exciting new community tradition. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just out for some fun, all ages and fitness levels are welcome. Light refreshments will be available after the run. The event will begin at 9:00 am at Oak Ridge Park located at 136 Oak Ridge Road, Clark, NJ.
Beginning at 6:30 pm the Portuguese Flag will be raised at City Hall and displayed until June 10th. A City Proclamation will be issued by the Mayor and other city officials declaring Portugal Week in Elizabeth.
Join us for our Mini Golf Tournament! We’re bringing back this community favorite for all ages to enjoy a day of friendly competition and laughter on the greens. Clubs and golf balls will be provided for children participating in the tournament while supplies last. Refreshments and picnic seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Event begins at 10:00 am at Shady Rest Country Club, located at 820 Jerusalem Road, Scotch Plains, NJ.
We will sash our Marshals during a cultural exhibit from the Portuguese community. Also at the event will be various wines from Portugal. The event will begin at 7:00 pm at the Portuguese Instructive Social Club at 600 Grove St, at the corner of Route 1 & 9 in Elizabeth, NJ.
This year our we will be traveling out traditional parade route that we have been marching for the past 4 decades. We start promptly at 2:00 pm. Please go to our Parade page for more information on the route and how to join in on the fun.
